The British Virgin Islands has announced a reopening date of Dec. 1, and that will coincide with the reopening of one of the destination’s top luxury destinations: Oil Nut Bay.
The Virgin Gorda luxury resort and residential community will be reopening that day, a spokesperson for the property confirmed to Caribbean Journal.
The destination, set on the coveted North Sound, consists of a number of luxury villas and estates, a number of which are available as vacation rentals.
That’s along with other accommodations like the property’s popular Cliff Suites.
“Oil Nut Bay was is a low-density, secluded haven that was built for social distancing,” said Shaylene Todd, Sales and Marketing Director at Oil Nut Bay. “Moving forward, guests and owners will be able to enjoy enhanced food and beverage delivery options, a recalibrated “Zoom Room” in the Beach Club for those mixing business and pleasure, representatives to assist remote learning and an increased number of private chefs available so that guests and can dine in the comfort of their own villas if desired.”
