Saint Lucia’s Fond Doux Plantation Is Open Again

One of Saint Lucia’s most beloved hotels is open again, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The family-owned Fond Doux Plantation in Soufriere has received its COVID-19 certification, the Saint Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association confirmed this week. 

The Green Globe-certified boutique eco-hotel is set on a working cacao plantation that dates back to the 19th century home to 135 acres of rainforest and gardens. 

There are now 17 hotels currently open in Saint Lucia.
