Saint Lucia’s iconic Boucan by Hotel Chocolat is rebranding, with plans to relaunch on Sept. 1 as the Rabot Eco Escape.
The 14-unit eco-lodge, a full-fledged “chocolate hotel,” is set on a 140-acre organic cacao farm.
The boutique hotel is reopening with a new set of safety and precautionary measures amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The property is emphasizing its indoor-outdoor design and naturally-implemented social distancing.
“Inside-outside architecture means no elevators, no corridors and no high-traffic areas,” the property said in a statement. “What’s more, each eco-lodge sits at a luxurious distance from its neighbor, so each guest can enjoy their own self-meditative space in the surrounding rainforest.”
