Serenity at Coconut Bay, one of the Caribbean’s leading adults-only all-inclusive hotels, has officially reopened, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The boutique luxury resort at the southern tip of Saint Lucia reopened its doors earlier this month.
The property has received its COVID-19 certification from Saint Lucia’s Department of Health and Wellness, making it one of the handful of properties approved to accept visitors in Saint Lucia right now.
“We were all very excited to reopen having been focused on making the Serenity experience even better than ever, and the team was thrilled to welcome back our guests,” said Mark Adams, President and CEO of Serenity at Coconut Bay.
The property’s 36 suites all include private plunge pools, butler service and “are now ideal for social distancing,” the property said in a statement.
So what’s changed amid the new realities of travel?
The property’s Greathouse restaurant has been reconfigured, with fewer tables indoors, while outdoor seating has been increased.
Of course, there’s also 24-hour contactless room service, too.
For guests who want to use the property’s main pool, they’ll have a choice of a private beach cabana.
Serenity is also offering private airport transfers, private in-suite check-in and check-out, a personalized bar, among other features.
The hotel also said it would allow guests to cancel reservations up to 72 hours in advance of arrival “without penalty.”
As for Serenity’s sister resort, the popular Coconut Bay resort, it is planning to reopen on Oct. 1.
