The Bahamas’ Fountain Bay Resort Is on the Market for $14 Million
The Fountain Bay Resort on Cat Island in The Bahamas is for sale, Caribbean Journal Invest has learned.
The resort, which is set on 21 acres in Cat Island’s New Bight, has been listed with CA Christie Real Estate for $14 million.
The listing includes villas with 23 rooms, a clubhouse, bonefish flats, a fish nursery and the approval for a marina.
Some dredging work has already begun on the latter, and can be completed by the new owners, according to CA Christie.
The brokerage also said additional acreages nearby are for sale to “enhance or start a new project such as a high-end gated community and golf course.”
Cat Island has been seeing increased traffic in recent years, part of broader growth for the Out Islands of The Bahamas.
