Casa de Campo Resort and Villas, the leading golf resort in the Dominican Republic, has officially reopened its doors.

The La Romana-area resort, best known for its Pete Dye-designed Teeth of the Dog golf course, officially relaunched on July 1.

The property worked with Mallorca-based HS Consulting Group to review and enhance all of its health and safety protocols

The resort has also announced that two of its popular golf tournaments are returning this summer.

That includes the 6th Annual Latin America Pro Am, which will be held from Aug. 11-15, and the 39th Annual Casa de Campo Open, which will take place Sept. 16-20.

The Dominican Republic officially reopened for tourism at the beginning of July.
