Antigua and Barbuda has released an updated set of health and safety protocols for visitors.
Most notably, all passengers arriving by air must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result, taken within seven days of their flight.
Travelers arriving by sea, both private yachts and ferry services, are subject to quarantine according to guidelines issued by Antigua’s Port Health.
All passengers must wear face masks on disembarkation and all public areas — with face masks mandatory in all public spaces in Antigua and Barbuda.
All arriving passengers must also complete a Health Declaration Form and be subjected to screening and temperature checks upon arrival.
All arriving passengers will be monitored for COVID-19 for periods of up to 14 days, officials said. Visitors may also be required to undergo testing for COVID on arrival or at the hotel or place of lodging.
And any arriving passengers with symptoms of COVID-19 may be isolated.
Antigua first reopened its borders for tourism on June 4.
