The hip new Skylark Negril Beach Resort has reopened its doors in Jamaica.

The boutique hotel had its “grand reopening” on July 3, following Jamaica’s reopening for tourism last month.

The property, which is the home of the first Caribbean outpost of New York’s famous Miss ily’s restaurant, has added 100 new preventative actions to its daily protocols “to ensure the safety of our guests and staff alike.”

Those range from available online check-in to required face masks in shared spaces to “thorough sanitizing of guest rooms.”

The latter includes ventilation, sterilizing foggers and steamers of the room, surfaces and the air conditioning unit, the property said.

“At Skylark we are fully committed to providing a COVID safe haven,” the property said in a statement.
