Anguilla’s CuisinArt Resort Is on the Market

By: Caribbean Journal Staff

By Alexander Britell

One of the Caribbean’s most prominent luxury resorts, the Resort & Residences by CuisinArt in Anguilla, is now on the market, Caribbean Journal Invest has learned.

The CBRE Hotels Miami team of Christian Charre, Paul Weimer, Fernando Garcia Chacon and Jennifer Jin has the listing on the property.

The 300-acre property includes 181 luxury units across two resorts: the CuisinArt Resort and The Reef by CuisinArt, both set on Rendezvous Bay in Anguilla. (Rendezvous Bay has previously been named the number one beach in the Caribbean).

The listing also includes Anguilla’s only golf course (designed by Greg Norman), a 27,000-square-foot spa, five dining concepts; three swimming pools with cabanas; five tennis courts; four boutiques, a kids’ play area and a real estate component of 67 partially-built residential units.

The property, which is owned by the estate of the late Leandro Rizzuto, recently completed a $45 million renovation project.

“It’s really two resorts: the original CuisinArt and The Reef, which was built in 2016,” Weimer told Caribbean Journal Invest. “Anguilla has become a really exclusive island and [this property] is in the right company.”

The CuisinArt name will not travel with the new buyer, Weimer said.

“The play would be a really upscale, independent resort or branded with some sort of luxury brand,” Weimer said.

The property is being sold unencumbered, Weimer said.

Curaçao’s Real Estate Market, Seen Through Data

CJ Invest, News, Real Estate News

Curaçao’s real estate market is often explained through personal experience. Someone bought in Jan Thiel. Prices moved in Blue Bay. A quiet sale happened in Barber. What has been harder to find is an islandwide view grounded in actual listings rather than impressions.
