Aruba’s Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, which has remained open amid the pandemic, is completing a wave of renovation projects ahead of Aruba’s reopening for tourism on July 1.

The Eagle Beach-area resort invested more than $1 million in upgrades and new health and safety measures “to be able to welcome back our guests better than ever,” the property said.

That includes the addition of new beach cabanas to “increase safe social distancing.”

The resort is also renovating its pool, with a new “refreshed look,” a shallower depth and a solar-heated whirlpool.

The resort’s SandBar is being completely rebuilt to “be safe and enjoyable for all,” and the property is also installing keyless enteries, a new text-friendly guest communication program and a refreshment and renewal of the property’s guest rooms.
