Paradise Island Home Lists for $7.5 Million
An ultra-luxe villa in the exclusive Ocean Club Estates community at the tip of Paradise Island in The Bahamas has hit the market, Caribbean Journal Invest has learned.
The Capanna Lussa villa has been listed for $7.5 million; Gavin Christie, Managing Partner and Broker of C.A. Christie Real Estate, has the listing on the property, according to Selling the Caribbean.
The property, which was designed by renowned architect Yianni Skordas of New York’s Skordas Design Studio, has six bedrooms, six bathrooms and 86 feet of water frontage.
That’s along with amenities like a 50-foot-deep water dock overlooking the harbor with direct ocean aacess; a large pool, a chef’s kitchen, two open-air zen gardens and spectacular tropical landscaping.
The home, which was built in 2007, is set on a .754 acre lot in the Ocean Club Estates community, home to the celebrated Tom Weiskopf-designed championship golf course.
And then there are the details: golden limestone imported fro Jerusalem; hand-crafted Tunisian mosaics and mahogany sliding door panels in the great room, among others.
Christie told Caribbean Journal Invest that The Bahamas has a strong slate of incentives for buyers, including the eligibility to apply for permanent residency for those who buy property worth more than $750,000.
That’s along with other perks like no income tax, no capital gains tax, no inheritance tax and and no corporate or personal tax.
