Aruba’s Boardwalk Boutique Hotel is reopening this month for the return of tourism to the island.

The popular boutique hotel, which recently completed a major expansion project, will be reopening at the end of this month.

Aruba recently announced plans to begin its phased tourism reopening on July 1, with American travelers set to return to the island on July 10.

“Our guests typically come to Boardwalk to enjoy the tranquility on our lush property, the spacious casitas with exclusive extras like a private patio with barbecue and hammock, a full kitchen, even a private plunge pool or outdoor shower— things that in the new reality add extra value when searching for a healthy and safe vacation environment”, said co-owner Kimberly Rooijakkers. “While privacy and distancing remain key, we also stay focused on personal contact with our guests and we’ve created new experiences that integrate the engagement between our staff, guests, Aruba’s nature and local community.”

Late last year, the Boardwalk added 32 new “casitas” on its grounds on the site of a former coconut plantation called Plantage Tromp.

The property now features a total of 46 units.
