The Curacao Marriott has a new general manager, following the appointment of veteran hospitality executive Mark Nooren.

The 336-room beach resort had completed a $40 million renovation project at the end of last year.

The resort is managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, which has a growing portfolio of Caribbean resorts in its broader portfolio.

Aimbridge took over management of the Curacao Marriott last year.

Norren had previously served as the asset manager of the resort, which is set on Piscadera Bay about five minutes from Curacao’s historic capital of Willemstad.
