Boca Grandi Beach, Aruba It’s far from well-traveled sands like Palm and Eagle, set on the raw, unadulterated eastern coast of Aruba. This is Boca Grandi, a haven for kitesurfers and those in search of a very different side of this Dutch Caribbean Island.
Lighthouse Beach, Eleuthera, The Bahamas Travel all the way down to the southern tip of Eleuthera and you’ll find this magnificent stretch of sand, where rugged cliffs meet soft, sweeping beach. It’s a hike to get here, down a bumpy, rocky road that tire most cars — but it’s worth every step of the journey — a true-bucket-list experience.
Orient Beach, St Martin Endless afternoons fueled by rum and rose; all-day parties at chic, buzzy beach bars; gourmet lunches and fresh music. This is the Orient we all love, the French side of St Martin’s capital of breezy cool.
Toiny Beach, St Barth This isn’t the St Barth you expect; far from the luxury shops of Gustavia and the camera flashes of St Jean, it’s a laid-back surfer beach where rough Atlantic waves meet a barefoot, unpretentious side of the island. (Of course, it’s also home to one of the island’s leading places to stay).

That’s the case at the lovely Cane Garden Bay, a cross-section of Tortola life and a crossroads of the BVI; it’s all here — and there’s even a centuries-old rum distillery right across the road.
