The Turks and Caicos Construction Industry Is Reopening
The construction sector is reopening in the Turks and Caicos Islands, according to the British Overseas Territory’s government.
Turks and Caicos’ Deputy Premier will be leading the reopening of the sector, which officially took effect May 11.
All construction companies that wish to operate in the construction industry will have to register, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing, Planning and Development.
Every site will need a site inspection prior to receiving approval to reopen.
Turks and Caicos is also implementing a series of protocols for the industry that will be finalized prior to the relaunch.
“To facilitate the safe and timely reopening of the industry these protocols must be incorporated in all operations,” the government said.
Companies who wish to begin operating need to register with Turks and Caicos’ Department of Planning at DPCOVID19@gov.tc.
