Music legend (and Caribbean lover) Jimmy Buffett is releasing a brand-new studio album in May.

It’s called “Life on the Flip Side,” and it will be released on May 29 on Mailboat Records.

The record is Buffett’s first studio album in seven years.

The album is being produced by longtime Coral Reefers Mac McAnally and Michael Utley; it will include a total of 14 new songs.

Those who order the album early will get an early release of one of the songs on the album, “Down at the Lah De Dah.”

“Despite the push back of [his newest] tour due to the current events, Jimmy felt strongly that he wanted to release this music now in hopes that these songs will help people relax and aid us through these troubling times,” Margaritaville said in a statement.

Buffett has already released a “lyric” video for Down at the Lah De Dah,” below.

Buffett is one of the world’s most famous — and dedicated — Caribbean aficionados, with much of his work inspired by his travels across the region, from Jamaica to to St Barth.
