Turks and Caicos’ Water Cay Is on the Market
In what is the pre-eminent private-island listing in Turks and Caicos, the British Overseas Territory’s Water Cay is on the market.
Turks and Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing on the property, which is currently marketed at $49 million.
The 432-acre cay has 7,000 feet of “prime interrupted beach,” according to the brokerage.
It even comes with its own canal parcel in Providenciales’ Leeward Channel Marina, with room for a launch and private welcome center.
Getting to Water Cay takes about 10 minutes by boat from the Marina, which it itself 15 minutes from Providenciales International Airport.
While it clearly makes sense as a private-island resort destination, Sotheby’s says it’s being marketed to both individual and developers alike.
