ResortPass, the hotel platform that allows travelers buy day passes to participating resorts, has expanded to the Caribbean, including major markets like the Dominican Republic and The Bahamas.

The Los Angeles-based company has also expanded to St Kitts, St Maarten, Jamaica, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Los Cabos as part of a wider Caribbean-Mexico regional expansion.

Providing what the company calls “daycations,” the passes can give travelers daytime access to hotels and resorts to use their pools, spas, fitness centers and other amenities.

“We are thrilled to be opening our doors into the Caribbean and Mexican market,” said Amanda Szabo, founder and CEO of ResortPass in a statement. “Not only will this offer solutions for locals who would like to enjoy the leisure amenities at hotels but also for travelers visiting the area and opting to stay in vacation rentals during their trip or, for those looking to do some resort pool hopping while on vacation, for cruise-ship passengers visiting for the day.”

Properties that are already part of the platform range from the SLS Baha Mar in The Bahamas to the Sonesta Maho Beach in St Maarten.
