Grenada’s Mount Cinnamon Has a Hot New Eatery

One of Grenada’s top boutique hotels has debuted a hot new dining concept: Kréyòl.

The new eatery at the Grand Anse Beach property is led by executive chef Cristian Bassi, who calls the menu a “fusion of Creole cuisine with inspiration from the West Indies.”

The menu features everything from Lambie Waters Soup, a traditional Grenadian conch soup, to Trinidadian Pholourie and Kuchela Relish, the twin-island country’s famous split pea fritters.

Kréyòl is open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 6PM to 8:30PM during the high season from January through April.

The debut of the new eatery comes as Mount Cinnamon just completed an expansion of the property with six new “Cinnamon” suites to its collection.
