European carrier Air Belgium is launching its newest Caribbean route this week, with its first-ever service to Fort de France in Martinique.
The carrier launches flights on Saturday, Dec. 7 on an Airbus A340-300 aircraft.
The weekly flights are a boost for travelers in Belgium and nearby France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands looking to reach the French Caribbean island.
“Air Belgium is pleased to highlight this unique opportunity to connect Belgium with the French West Indies, the company said in a statement.
Air Belgium also operates regular service from Brussels to Pointe a Pitre in the French Caribbean department of Guadeloupe.
