An ultra-luxe Barbados villa that previously listed for $40 million is headed to auction, Caribbean Journal has learned.
Cove Spring House, set in the heart of St James on Barbados’ Platinum Coast, will be sold by luxury auction firm Concierge Auctions, which has set a $25 million reserve price on the property.
The villa has seven massive master suites, along with a f center, a media room, a resort-style pool area and hot tub and a bar, among other amenities.
The furnished property also includes a separate three-bedroom guest house, meaning a total of 10 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms at the villa.
Cove Spring House, which is set atop a coral cliff, includes private beach access, a series of fountains, a gated entrance and room for up to 20 guests.
Concierge Auctions is partnering on the listing with Rae “Muffin” Stollmeyer of Barbados Sotheby’s International Realty.
The company said bidding would be held from Oct. 29-31 by Concierge Auctions, which has been cultivating a niche as a luxury auction firm for real estate around the Caribbean.
