Bermuda tourism officials say the island destination is “open for business” following last week’s Hurricane Humberto.

The storm passed about 75 miles north of Bermuda, with what officials called “minimal” damage as a result.

Bermuda’s LF Wade International Airport has been open since Thursday, and the island’s visitor services center reopened on Friday.

Additionally, ferry service throughout Bermuda has also been restored.

“With the airport reopened, the clean-up well underway, and the damage minimal, Bermuda is ready to welcome visitors and groups already booked to visit this weekend and beyond,” said Kevin Dallas, the Bermuda Tourism Authority’s CEO.
