It began as one of the hippest hotels in the Caribbean. and now Jamaica’s Geejam is getting bigger.

The Geejam Colletion, which has an expanding portfolio of hospitality outposts based in the hotspot of Port Antonio, is at it again with the addition of 12 new rooms called the Marumba Studios.

The Geejam Collection’s move was announced by Jamaican tourism officials at the recent JAPEX gathering in Montego Bay.

The Marumba Studios, which is slated to open later this year, will be comprised of 12 new 550-square-foot rooms.

It will feature what the property calls a “modern, creative design,” with views of the surrounding rainforest and the sea.

The Geejam collection also includes a portfolio of villas and a renowned on-site recording studio.
