The ultra-luxe Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is slated to open its doors on Nov. 1 in Mexico.

The retreat, which will be one of just two Ritz-Carlton Reserve resorts in the wider Caribbean-Mexico region, will be set in San Jose del Cabo on the Sea of Cortez.

The property will include a total of 115 suites and villas, along with a massive TLee Spas-designed spa and an ambience described as the “ultimate desert luxury,” according to the company.

The mix of units will include 87 rooms, 28 suites and 42 villas, headlined by the 6,000-square-foot “Grand Reserve Villa.”

The focus will be on what Ritz-Carlton is calling “desert luxury.”

Many of the suites and villas boast their own private plunge pools.

The property is surrounded by a 27-hole golf course complex including three courses designed by Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus.

When it debuts, Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve will join the celebrated Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico as the halo brand’s two regional resorts.

Ritz-Carlton Reserve is the most exclusive segment of the Ritz-Carlton portfolio.
