Sunwing Is Launching More New Nonstop Cuba Flights

Sunwing’s big Caribbean expansion will include another new route to Cuba this winter, according to the company.

Sunwing will be launching a new weekly flight to Varadero from Sault Ste. Marie Airport in Ontario beginning Dec. 12.

The new weekly service, which will operate on Saturdays, will run through April 9, 2020.

“We are delighted that our service out of Sault Ste. Marie has been so well-received. As a result of ongoing support from residents, we’re excited to be returning to Sault Ste. Marie Airport for the 12th consecutive season and providing convenient access to one of the most popular vacation destinations this winter.”

Varadero is Cuba’s most popular beach destination, home to the destination’s largest concentration of all-inclusive hotels.
