A Strong Month for JetBlue

It was another strong month for JetBlue Airways, according to the New York City-based airline’s latest passenger data.

JetBlue reported 4.587 billion revenue passenger miles in May, which represented a 5.7 percent increase compared to the same month last year.

Available seat miles rose by 5.4 percent to 5.335 billion, while load factor saw a 0.2-percentage-point increase to 86 percent.

For the year, JetBlue traffic is up 6.8 percent, with a total of 21.9 billion revenue passenger miles through the first five months of 2019.

Available seat miles are up 8.5 percent for the year to 26.16 billion.
