The BVI’s Oil Nut Bay Is Set to Debut a New Marina Village
By the Caribbean Journal staff
The island of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands is set to debut a highly-anticipated new destination: the Marina Village at Oil Nut Bay.
The new complex at the luxe Oil Nut Bay development will be anchored by an overwater eatery called Nova, complemented by amenities like a “suspended pool,” overwater hammocks, daybeds, a bar, a coffee shop and a boutique.
That’s along with a new library curated by bespoke book collection designers Ultimate Library.
But the overwater lounge will likely be the biggest draw — and open to the public, with regular ferries running throughout the day — and, naturally, a marina for boaters.
The Marina Village officially opens April 16.
