The French Caribbean island of Martinique may be most famous for its rum, but it’s now home to a new boutique brewery.
It’s called BAM, and it’s the product of the new Petite Brasserie Martiniquauise or “Little Martinique Brewery.”
The island’s new local beer, which complements the island’s existing Lorraine beer, is a blonde beer “produced under the Martinican sun,” as the company says.
It’s already available at the brewery itself and at a host of local bars from Ti Sable in Anses d’Arlet to the famous Le Petibonum in Le Carbet, among others.
The startup brewery is set in the southern coastal town of Sainte Luce.
