American Airlines is extending its recent expansion to the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire to year-round service, Caribbean Journal has learned.
That means a total of four weekly flights from Miami International Airport to Bonaire, all year round.
American first launched the flights in June with weekly Saturday service.
Now they will continue operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The three-hour flights are operated on Airbus A319 aircraft.
Tourism Corporation Bonaire, the island’s tourist board, confirmed the extension this week.
