Punta Cana is home to another new hotel, following this week’s debut of the Ocean El Faro in Uvero Alto.

The 618-room Dominican Republic all-inclusive is the latest by H10 Hotels; it will be followed later this year by a 293-room adults-only phase called El Beso.

The property, designed by the Lázaro Rosa-Violán studio, has a beach club along with 10 restaurants, 13 bars and a spa called the Despacio Spa Center.

That’s along with four swimming pools, including an artificial river, two tennis courts, a multi-sport court and a dive center.

The property gets its name from its signature lighthouse.

Entertainment options include a theater, a nightclub and a bowling alley.

There are six suite categories, including swim-up junior suites and rooftop junior suites, with the latter featuring terraces, sun loungers and outdoor jacuzzis.

H10 Hotels, one of the largest hotel companies in Spain, is in the midst of an expansion in the Caribbean, particularly in the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
