Canadian travel giant Sunwing has launched a new route to Jamaica’s tourism hub of Montego Bay.
The new route is operating out of Greater Sudbury Airport in Ontario, with weekly flights on Thursdays running through April 11, 2019.
““Our seasonal flight service from Sudbury has been well-received in past seasons and we are excited to be offering travellers in the Greater Sudbury region with even more ways to Vacation Better this winter,” said Andrew Dawson, Sunwing’s president of tour operations. “Sudbury residents can now easily explore all that Montego Bay has to offer with this convenient direct flight service, including its pristine beaches, world-famous tours and excursions and warm Caribbean hospitality.”
Sunwing also recently resumed flights from Sudbury to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
“Once again, we are thrilled to welcome Sunwing to Greater Sudbury for another season,” said Todd Tripp, CEO of the Greater Sudbury Airport. “With Sunwing now offering flight service to Montego Bay, Jamaica, for the 2018-2019 winter season, in addition to its popular flight to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, sun destination choices for Sudbury travellers have never been more convenient.”
Sunwing’s package vacations include stays at resorts ranging from the company’s own Royalton Blue Waters resort to the Riu Palace Tropical Bay, among others.
