Tradewind Aviation resumed service from San Juan to both Anguilla and Nevis last week.

The operator put a hold on service to Anguilla after Hurricanes Irma and Maria, and is now returning after one year out of the market as the island makes its tourism recovery.

The Nevis service operated last season up to April 2018.

Tradewind also announced it will send even more aircrafts down to the Caribbean this season, citing high demand, particularly to St Barth.

The operator will fly 10 aircraft to the French Caribbean island— 40 percent more than last year and 20 percent more than pre-hurricane levels, Tradewind’s David Zipkin told Caribbean Journal.

“The demand, especially for St Barth, is at unprecedented levels, so we are moving quickly to meet the need,” Zipkin said.

Tradewind has a fleet of 21 Pilatus aircraft.
