It just may be the hottest new real estate project in the Caribbean.

The newest Four Seasons project in the Caribbean is already well underway, and the new Four Seasons Cay Chapel in Belize is already showing surging sales.

The 280-acre, 2.5-mile private island resort is set in the heart of Belize’s largest marine sanctuary, and it will include a significant residential component.

The product of a partnership between Mexican firms Thor Urbana, GFA Grupo Immobiliario and Immobilia Desarollos, the property will feature a mix of 50 private lots, 35 residences and a hotel with 100 rooms.

The Four Seasons Belize has already sold out its Founders Program with $39 million in sales in just four months — and now Caye Chapel is launching sales of its Phase 1.

That includes a mix of oceanfront home sites ranging from one-third of an acre to a full acre, with residences ranging from $2 million to $4 million.

Amenities will include access to a private airstrip, a Fabien Cousteau Nature and Conservation Institute, an 18-hole Greg Norman golf club and a beach club, among others. (Caye Chapel will be an eight-minute flight from mainland Belize).

The new Four Seasons is slated to open in Belize in 2021, the latest in what has become a rapidly expanding Caribbean portfolio for the brand – which now includes resorts in The Bahamas, Nevis and Anguilla, with new residential resort projects on the way in both Costa Rica and Puerto Rico.

It’s also another major project for Belize, which has been attracting strong interest from hotel investors in the last several years, as new brands from Marriott to Hilton have either launched or opened projects there.
