And now it’s easier than ever before to get there.
Fast-expanding Silver Airways is set to launch a new direct flight from Fort Lauderdale to Cat Island, with the service slated to launch Feb. 13.
The new flight will operate twice a week, with service on Wednesday and Saturdays.

It’s a big boost for the destination, which has a broad collection of boutique hotels from the legendary Fernandez Bay Village to the tiny, charming Shannas Cove Resort.
