Sunwing Travel Group’s Memories hotel brand is relaunching its Punta Cana all-inclusive resort, the company said this week.

The Memories Splash Resort, which is closed for renovations, will be reopening Nov. 16 as two distinct resorts: Grand Memories Punta Cana and Grand Memories Splash.

Both Dominican Republic resorts will feature renovated rooms and new “modern” amenities.”

“We are excited about the repositioning of Memories Splash,” says Antonio Herrera, Senior Director Business Development Hotels and Resorts, Blue Diamond Resorts. “This is an excellent opportunity to expand the Grand Memories brand to the Dominican Republic and to elevate this award-winning property’s all-inclusive experience.”

The Bavaro Beach-area resorts will both be family friendly, although the Grand Memories property will cater to couples and families, the company said in a statement.
