Grand Cayman’s Margaritaville Beach Resort is planning a major relaunch Nov. 1.

The 285-room property has completed a “massive overhaul,” including the addition of more than 8,500 square feet of meeting space, a new fitness center and a new culinary program.

That includes the first Caribbean eatery by noted chef Roy Yamaguchi, Eating House 1503, an extension of Yamaguchi’s renowned Hawai’i restaurant.

All of the property’s guest rooms have been transformed to include Margaritaville’s “casual luxe design,” from beachy photographs on the walls to Keurig coffee makers and 55-inch LCD televisions.

The revamped culinary concepts, executed in partnership with consulting chef Sean Brasel of Meat Market, include an Italian eatery called Frank + Lola’s, along with Spread, a wine-bar style cafe.

The property also includes four pools, including one with a swim-up bar.

Margaritaville, Jimmy Buffett’s iconic brand, first debuted in Grand Cayman in 2017, set at the former Treasure Island resort on Seven Mile Beach.
