Holland America Line is extending its 2019 cruise season on the Mexican Riviera, the company said this week.

Holland America’s Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam and Oosterdam ships will sail a range of seven and 11-day Mexico cruises from San Diego from January through December 2019.

The itineraries will include stops at Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta.

“Mexico cruises are among our most popular because they are perfect for a traveler who wants both a sun and beach filled itinerary along with a culturally rich destination wrapped into one vacation,” said Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line. “By featuring up to three Mexican ports of call on one itinerary, our cruises offer a deeply comprehensive and immersive opportunity to become connected to the people and traditions of Mexico.”

The sailings will include Holland America’s immersive “Explorations Central” on-board programming that offer local entertainment, regional dishes and destination presentations.

Hollad America is the latest cruise line to expand its presence on the west coast, as more cruise brands look to up their presence in ports like Long Beach and San Diego.
