There’s a new way to explore some of the untouched gems of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Turks and Caicos-based regional Caribbean airline InterCaribbean Airways has officially commenced its new service from Grand Turk to both South Caicos and Salt Cay.

“We recognize the Government of the Turks & Caicos Islands in its commitment, to provide this essential air service, that connects these islands with the rest of the world, via interCaribbean services to Providenciales, the Caribbean, and onward connections to the world,” said Trevor Sadler, CEO for interCaribbean Airways.

It’s a major new portal for travelers looking to reach a pair of destinations that have always been relatively hard to reach.

South Caicos is home to one of the destination’s newest properties, the Sailrock resort.

The Grand Turk-South Caicos flights are operating five days per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, twice daily.

The Salt Cay flights are running three times each week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with two services per day.

InterCaribbean is operating the flights on nine-seat Britten Norman Islander aircraft.
