There’s a new way to fly to the Caribbean’s Nature Island.

Caribbean carrier Air Antilles is adding two new flights from Guadeloupe to Dominica, with the new service set to launch Nov. 1.

The flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays from Pointe-a-Pitre at 9:00 PM, with the return flights from Dominica departing on Fridays and Mondays at 6:00 AM.

The flights will run through March 29, 2019 on ATR 42-seat aircraft.

The flights will mean a wave of new connections to Dominica through flights to Guadeloupe, including carriers like Norwegian (from New York) and a wave of carriers running flights from Paris.

“While there are a number of ways to get to Dominica these flights were planned to offer connections to Norwegian to take advantage of their lower fares, and also to provide alternatives and convenience in same day access to travelers from Europe and the US to get to Dominica,” said Colin Piper, Dominica’s Director of Tourism.

It’s another boost for Dominica, which has been making a comeback from last year’s storms.
