One of Aruba’s leading places to stay has gotten a major new look.

The Hyatt Regency Aruba is set to unveil a $12 million top-to-bottom renovation project that will cover all of its 357 rooms and suites and its Regency Club.

“Hyatt Regency Aruba consistently raises the bar when it comes to service, experience and amenities in Aruba,” said Carlos Cabrera, General Manager and Area Vice President of Hyatt Regency Aruba. “Our new room product is incomparable to any other resort on the island and will be a welcome enhancement to our valued guests.”

Kansas City-based BLUR Workshop Designs has spearheaded the project, which has introduced “chic, modern accommodations while still paying homage to the island’s Dutch Colonial architecture and colorful Caribbean accents,” according to a statement.

The rooms will have a bright, airy new look, adding amenities like 65-inch TVs, glass-faced fridges, coffee stations, new outlets and even motion sensor lighting.

The Aruba hotel’s new Regency Club Lounge will also move from the property’s top floor to the ground level.

Top-floor rooms are already available, while lower-level guest rooms will relaunch this fall.
