Delta Is Launching New Caribbean Flights From New York

Delta Air Lines is planning a broad Caribbean expansion out of New York, Caribbean Journal has learned.

That includes three new routes and an additional daily flight to the region.

Antigua.

Delta’s new routes include daily nonstop flights between JFK and Kingston, Jamaica, along with new weekly Saturday service to both Antigua and Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

The new Antigua service will complement flights to the island from the New York area on American and United.

Additionally, Delta is expanding its Bahamas service with a second daily flight between JFK and Nassau.

The expanded Nassau service will launch Oct. 1, the new Kingston flights will begin operating Dec. 20 and both the Antigua and Haiti flights will launch Dec. 22, according to the company.

All of the flights will utilize Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

All of the flights have already launched bookings, Delta confirmed.
