A beach cabana at night?

That’s the idea from the Westin Grand Cayman, which has launched a new program called the Stargazing Cabana.

The new service for the hotel’s new oceanfront beach cabanas lets guests spend an evening on the sands of Seven Mile Beach in the comfort of a beach cabana with dinner and a private firepit for creating a personalized dessert and a personal telescope accompanies by a night sky map.

“Our new stargazing program is a perfect evening activity for a variety of guests who are looking for unique, memorable experiences,” said Jim Mauer, Vice President/Managing Director. “Couples, families, and groups will enjoy unplugging while lying under the stars and admiring the twinkling sky from our magnificent Seven Mile Beach.”

Cabanas come in four styles, from Premium Beach Cabanas with cushioned beach lounge chairs set right on the sands of Seven Mile Beach, to Double Deck Cabanas with cushioned wooden lounge chairs and a queen day bed located adjacent to the resort’s pool deck on the beach.

And there are upgrades, too, like a bucket of local brews, a house bottle of wine or frozen fruit snacks, among others.

Because why leave your cabana when the sun goes down?
