Southwest Airlines reported another jump in traffic in July, according to the latest numbers from the carrier.
The company reported a total of 12.195 billion revenue passenger miles last month, which represented a 2.2 percent increase over the same month in 2017.
Southwest also saw a 2.1 percent increase in available seat miles, rising from 14.16 billion in July 2017 to 14.61 billion last month.
Load factor fell by 1 percentage point, however, to 86.3 percent.
Southwest flew a total of 122,030 trips in the period, a 1 percent increase year over year.
Southwest has been at the forefront of the Caribbean’s fast-growing aviation network, most recently launching a new route to Aruba.
