Sunwing is making a big push in Mexico.

The Canadian travel giant has added another wave of new nonstop flights to Mexico, announcing plans to add three new routes to Mexico out of Victoria, British Columbia.

Sunwing is adding new Saturday flights to Puerto Vallarta; Monday flights to Los Cabos and Tuesdays flights to Huatulco.

The Puerto Vallarta flights will run from Dec. 22 to March 30, while the Los Cabos flights will operate Nov. 5 to April 22 and the Huatulco flights will run from Nov. 6 to April 16.

“Enabling our customers to save time and money by departing from their local airport is very important to us and we are delighted to be returning to Victoria again this winter and to be able to increase our vacation options to include three of our most popular destinations for the first time,” said President of Tour Operations, Andrew Dawson.

Sunwing is offering several vacation options, with the Riu Palace Pacifico and the Riu Santa Fe (which recently expanded) among a collection of properties.

“We’re pleased to welcome Sunwing back to Victoria,” said Geoff Dickson, President and CEO, Victoria Airport Authority.  “Sun destinations are very popular with our community.  Whether it’s golf, beaches, water sports or sport fishing, there’s something for everyone with these well-liked vacation options.”

In the last month, Sunwing has announced new flights to Los Cabos from Ottawa and plans to launch flights from Kelowna to Los Cabos in December.
