Curaçao Resort Completes Major Expansion

By the Caribbean Journal staff

Curaçao has a new addition to its resort portfolio, following a major expansion by the Livingstone Jan Thiel Resort.

The resort, set on one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, recently added 114 new rooms to the property, going from a collection of apartments to full-fledged resort, according to the Curaçao Hotel and Tourism Association.

That complements the resort’s existing 50 one-bedroom apartments and 40 two-bedroom villas.

The resort also added two brand-new restaurants, the Don’s Restaurant and Flamboyan Burgers.

It’s the signature place to stay on Jan Thiel Beach, long one of the most popular stretches of sand on the Dutch Caribbean island.
