The world’s largest rental car company has officially opened in the Dominican Republic.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has opened four new locations, each at airports in the Dominican Republic.

The company’s new locations include Punta Cana International Airport; Santo Domingo’s Las Americas International Airport; Cibao International Airport in Santiago; and Gregorio Luperon International Airport in Puerto Plata.

“The Dominican Republic is an important piece of our planned growth in the region,” said Peter A. Smith, vice president of global franchising at Enterprise Holdings. “And this expansion allows travelers even more access to our world-renowned customer service and convenient rental process.”

Enterprise first entered the Caribbean market in 2014, and has since been on a rapid expansion push, with a total of 22 locations across the region including in Belize, Tortola, Trinidad and Turks and Caicos, among others.

Enterprise owns National and Alamo; National has been operating in the country for more than four decades.
