Canada’s Sunwing is adding another new nonstop route for the upcoming winter travel season, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The travel giant has announced plans for a nonstop flight between Quebec City and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The new service will operate on Mondays beginning Dec. 17, running until April 15, 2019.

It’s the latest new route in what has been a year of rapid network expansion for the company.

“Saving customers time and money by enabling them to depart from their local airport is one of our key priorities, and we are delighted to be offering Quebecers even more choice this coming winter with the introduction of this new service,” said Sam Char, Executive Vice President of Sunwing Travel Group Quebec in a statement. “Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit are consistently popular vacation destinations and we’re sure this new service will be well received.”
