Air Canada Expanding Toronto-Curaçao Flights

By the Caribbean Journal staff

Air Canada is continuing its renewed Caribbean push with an expansion to the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao, Curaçao Airport Partners announced.

The carrier will add a third nonstop service to Curaçao during the upcoming 2018-2019 winter season.

That will mean a weekly total of 566 seats from Canada to Curaçao, including one flight per week from Montreal to Curaçao on Air Canada.

“We look forward to welcoming more visitors from Canada, our growing market,” the Curaçao Hospitality and Tourism Association said in a statement.

All Air Canada flights to Curaçao will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft.

It’s another boost for Curaçao International Airport, which has been making a push to position itself as a major Caribbean aviation player.

Air Canada first launched flights to Curaçao in 2011.
