Looking for a new culinary getaway in the Caribbean?

Roseau, Dominica’s Fort Young Hotel is welcoming a special guest executive chef, with Jamaica’s Kevin Broderick coming to the hotel to host two special epicurean experiences.

The first will be June 2, and the second June 30, with special menus aimed at showcasing his “culinary mastery,” according to the property.

Broderick will also be overseeing the Fort Young’s food and beverage offerings from May 29 to July 2.

During his time with the hotel, Broderick will prepare everything from lionfish ceviche to deconstructed grilled lamb chops.

“My inspiration for this menu was based on the island and the people,” said Broderick said. “The resilience of the people and the intrinsic love they have for each other has absolutely warmed my heart. What better way to encapsulate the true meaning of love and togetherness than by creating an intimate culinary escape focusing on the abundance of flavors the island has to offer.”
