By the Caribbean Journal staff

It isn’t just a week of sailing.

It’s the Caribbean’s number one regatta, and it’s one of the leading events on the regional calendar. Period.

And the 51st edition of Antigua Sailing Week is ready to launch starting on Saturday, April 28.

The week begins with the Peters & May Round Antigua Race on the 28th, followed by three days of racing.

Antigua.

May 2 sees the Wadadli Lay Day Beach Party, followed by two more days of racing capped by the KPMG Race Day.

Even if you’re not a sailor, Sailing Week has something for you, whether you just want to check out the race up close, or just sit on one of Antigua and Barbuda’s 365 beaches with an English Harbour in your glass.

That’s joined by nighttime events like Reggae in the Park.
